Trans X Logistics have had in-depth seminars for emergency planning and contingency strategies, and we have updated our contingency plans should a pandemic risk arise.
Brief outline of procedures in place:
- Workplace - Hygiene (washing hands very frequently)
- A range of precautionary measures implemented, including drivers & vehicles fitted with appropiate sanitizers
- Employees provided with information on how to minimize risk of infection, and what symptoms to look for
- Identifying any signs of potential problems, and acting on same appropriately and effectively.
Trans X Logistics have also prepared "what if" scenarios, roles and responsibilities for various workers within our company, from drivers to despatch controllers etc. Specific back up plans have also been put in place for key employees/management.
